Under and by virtue of an order of the District Court of Washington County, North Carolina, made and entered in the action entitled COUNTY OF WASHINGTON vs. PAUL D. BASNIGHT and spouse, MARY B. BASNIGHT, and all possible HEIRS, ASSIGNS OR DEVISEES OF PAUL D. BASNIGHT and spouse, MARY B. BASNIGHT, or any other person or entity claiming thereunder, et al, 15CVD000268-930, the undersigned Commissioner will on the 11th day of September, 2025, offer for sale and sell for cash, to the last and highest bidder at public auction at the courthouse door in Washington County, North Carolina, Plymouth, North Carolina at 12:00 o'clock, noon, the following described real property, lying and being in Plymouth Township, State and County aforesaid, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point where the center line of West Avenue intersects the Western edge of the road surfacing of North Carolina State Road 1108, and running thence along and with the Western edge of the road surfacing of North Carolina State Road 1108, in a southeastward direction 1,644.6 feet to a point in the Western edge of the Road surfacing of State Road 1108, thence South 87 degrees 13 minutes West 21.5 feet to an iron pipe, the point of beginning, running thence from said point of beginning South 8 degrees 56 minutes East 100.6 feet to an iron pipe; thence South 87 degrees 13 minutes West 206 feet to an iron pipe; thence North 8 degrees 56 minutes West 100.6 feet to an iron pipe; thence North 87 degrees 13 minutes East 206 feet to an iron pipe, the point of beginning.
But this conveyance is made subject to an easement for the purposes of putting in a water and sewer system. The parties of the first part do covenant with the parties of the second part that the water and sewer system that is to be herein after installed will in no way affect the construction, location, or otherwise interfere in any way with the dwelling which is to be located on the above described property.
