Downtown Plymouth 1st Friday event set for April 3

Plymouth Downtown Development Association in partnership with the Riverview Café, the Town of Plymouth and Washington County Travel and Tourism will kick-off an exceptional 1st Friday event on April 3, 2026.

Beginning at 5:30 p.m. a special guest, The Easter Bunny, will host an Easter Egg Hunt at the Water Street Mini Park. Please plan to bring your children to take part in this fun event. It’s rumored that 1,000 eggs will be hidden. Children attending the egg hunt will be eligible for a drawing for a golden egg and other prizes at no cost.

Also for children, the Washington County Arts Council will sponsor a special activity.

And then the music begins. The band EPIC will play classic rock and alternative music from 6-8

p.m. at the Bear Towne Market on Washington Street in Downtown Plymouth. EPIC is made up of four musicians, long- time friends, who live in the area and have a passion for music. George McNair, the group’s drummer, is originally from Plymouth though now he lives in Windsor and works as a life insurance agent. He says, “I have been playing music since I was 16. I have played all kinds of music and been in all types of bands since 1984. When someone would call, I would join them playing the bass and performing all over the area – from festivals to proms to nightclubs. We performed a variety of music, from beach music to Huey Lewis and the News, to rock and roll. I have two cd’s out. It’s all original music and I play all the parts...
