PLYMOUTH — A marathon Plymouth Town Council meeting Monday night produced a string of conse quential votes, including a contested decision to spend $7,000 promoting the Nation al Bear Festival, the creation of a downtown social district, and authorization to demolish a town-owned building riddled with mold and asbestos — all while the council grappled with a vacant council seat, a botched lease, and a dispute over what the public deserves to know.
