Arts Council
The Washington County Arts Council will meet every third Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. at the Roanoke River Maritime Museum, 206 W. Water St., Plymouth. All are welcome.

Mill Pond Road, Roper, will be the host site of Alliance for Greater Eastern North Caroli na’s ongoing “Out in the Rural Arts Series” for an Evening of Community Artistic Expressions, II. The event will include songs, dance and spoken word talent from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 25. The deadline for partic ipation is July 15.
