Downtown Plymouth hosted its first annual Wellness Day over the weekend, turning the area surrounding the waterfront into a multi hour festival of horse rides, dancing near the Port O’ Plymouth museum and naturally a host of delicious refreshing beverages.
Operating under the banner “Invest in Your Neighbor; Enrich Your Future” the event set out to be a unifying event in a community that has been divided along several lines for years on end, something local young people have taken aim at trying to mend.
