Dejah Brown was 18 years old, a lifelong resident of Plymouth and a graduate of Plymouth High School, when she was handed a diagnosis, a prognosis, and a list of institutions where she could send her son to die. Nine years later, she describes her self as unbreakable. “I know, for a fact, I am stronger,” she said. “Once you’ve been bro ken so low, I don’t think any thing can break me” the same way again.
