The county’s new EMTOC (Emergency Management and Training Operations Cen ter) opens its doors next week for an open house event, giving the public a chance for a preliminary walk-through of the new facility on US Hwy 64 East.
A ceremonial ribbon cutting precedes the open house, slated for 3-5 p.m. Monday, October 5. County Commissioners follow with a 6 p.m. special meeting in the facility.
