Washington County Library kicked off its 2025 Summer Reading Program with a bang last week, welcoming back OBX Lizard Land’s Paul DiDario and his crew of docile reptiles.

Since their debut in 2022, OBX Lizard Land proprietors Paul and Andi DiDario have been fan favorites of parents and kids alike, ranking among the program’s most anticipated performers. However, such demand comes with its share of drawbacks.

In the case of last Tuesday’s showcase, the DiDario’s had to go their separate ways in order to make the rounds across the Pettigrew Regional Library system.
