Confusion abounds in the world today.
Between politicians spinning the news to fit their agenda, to AI-generated “fake news,” and the mainstream media telling us we can’t believe our lyin’ eyes, it can be difficult to tell the difference between what’s real, what’s somebody’s opinion and what’s outright false.
What you can be sure of, though, is that I never keep writers off this page just because I disagree with them (I actually love well thought out opinions that I might not have thought about). I just ask writers to follow a few basic rules.
You don’t have to demand space, you just have to write a letter, sign your name and give me your address and phone number. Your name will be printed, but not your address or phone number.
Letters also need to be issues related — I don’t like people throwing grass clippings into the street — not based on personal- ities — Donald Trump is a thug or, vote for candidate A.
That’s pretty much it.
They say humans have a few things in common, including everybody having an opinion. We’d love to hear yours.
