Gerlene "Puddin" Anthony Campbell, 86, of Virginia Beach, VA, and formerly of Roper, gained her heavenly wings November 21, 2025.

Funeral services were at 12 p.m. Saturday November 29, at Toodle's Chapel, with Minister Teddy Keyes, officiating.

Burial followed in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Roper.

Viewing was at Toodle's Chapel.

Lynwood Earl Chesson

April 26, 1948 - November 20, 2025

Lynwood Earl Chesson, 77, of Plymouth, gained his heavenly wings early Thursday morning, November 20. Funeral services were Sunday, November 23, at Toodle's Chapel, with Bishop Daniel Gilliam officiating. Burial followed in Watson Memorial Garden Cemetery.

Timothy Dale Lee

November 5, 1959 – November 30, 2025

Timothy Dale Lee, 66, of Merry Hill, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025.

Timothy was born in Washington County on November 5, 1959, to the late Louis (Billy) A. and Florence E. Phipps Lee.

He spent over 30 hard-working years as a logger, dedicated to the same logging family. Although Timmy didn't have much, he would give the shirt off his back to the people he cared about. He was very much loved by close friends and family. He loved to hunt, fish, and watch old TV shows and movies. He prayed daily and had a strong faith in Jesus and believed in joining the Lord in the afterlife, as well as his Mom and Dad. We will miss him and his humorous phrases.

A Gathering of Remembrance will be held from 11 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, at Bryan Funeral Service at Hampton Academy in Plymouth.

He is survived by his son and wife, two grandchildren and three sisters: Jackie Bispo and husband James of Murphy, Billie Haddad and husband Greg of Ypsilanti, MI, and Sandy Weeks Hopkins of Outer Banks, NC.

Arrangements are by Bryan Funeral Service at Hampton Academy, Plymouth.

Johnnie Godfrey Staten

Johnnie Godfrey Staten, 72, of North Chesterfield, VA, passed away November 23, at McGuire Veteran Hospital, Richmond, VA.

Funeral services were Monday, December 1, at Uniontown Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ), with Elder Gregory Boston officiating.

Burial followed in Uniontown Church Cemetery.

Viewing was Monday, December 1, at Uniontown Church of Christ. Arrangements by Toodles Funeral Service, Plymouth.

Willie Randolph Nixon, 87, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully November 14.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m., Thursday, November 20, at Second Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor Hubert Judon officiating.

Burial followed in Small Family Cemetery.
