To say that this Jeffrey Epstein debacle has been a disaster any which way you split it, would be an understatement.
Of all the controversies that President Trump and his administration have been involved in over the years, the Epstein files are perhaps the only real bit of muck that seems to stick and bog them down.
And, some of that is for good reason.
More than anything, the story high- lights a fundamental truth that a lot of us turn a blind eye to, namely that evil is very real and wickeness is pervasive at the highest levels of our world.

But there is one great moral bound- ary that, while stretched to the brink, continues to be upheld generally across our society. That is protection of minors, something that has been a bulwark against complete moral decay.
While radical social progressives across the western world have made some pret- ty alarming strides in destigmatizing the abuse and exploitation of minors, especially through the Trojan horse of transgender identity, a good deal of the west has begun rejecting it en masse.
Which is to say that when children are involved, even the most powerful sweeping social movements will crumble once it becomes obvious that the most vulnerable among us are at stake.
