Washington County High School’s campus transformed itself into a veritable jamboree as the facility hosted its CTE and Community Schools Skills Carnival Tuesday, April 1, to widespread acclaim within and outside of the school’s halls.
Primarily a celebration of the student’s academic success ahead of the coming Spring Break, the event had all the makings of a genuine fair. Several booths were dedicated to providing sweets and goods to kids that happened by, while others, like the Gone Fishing and Duck Pond games, were on tap to provide some fun mental stimulation.
Naturally, any carnival like celebration worth its salt had to have a number of bounce houses on deck, of which the school had in spades.
Elsewhere, the good people of Hum- phrey Honey Bunny Farm, a travelling petting zoo, were on site to provide a bevy of furry and most importantly friendly critters to interact with.
