Many hands at the pantry

Plymouth Food Pantry volunteers, with backup from reinforcements mobilized by County Commissioner Ann Keyes — staged their last mobile event at the end of March. Food deliveries are scheduled to move back indoors May 12 when the pantry begins indoor operations at the 4-H Livestock Barn on Old Roper Road. Organizers say Keyes’ staffing assistance was crucial since several regular volunteers were unavailable for the March 31 delivery. “These gentlemen have done an outstanding job working to provide the needed assistance. Anytime there’s an opportunity for me to help, I’m ready, willing and able,” Keyes said. (Staff photo by Dale Heberlig)
