Church Bicentennial

Plymouth United Methodist Church, 109 E. Third St., Plymouth, will celebrate its 200th anniversary during its 10 a.m. service on Sun day, Sept. 13. The service will feature guest speaker Gina Miller, Beacon District superintendent, special music by Bob Waters and lunch immediately following worship.

Fall Revival

Roper Baptist Church, U.S. 32 North, Roper, will begin a Fall Revival with the 11 a.m. Sunday ser vice, Sept. 13 through Wednesday, Sept. 16. The guest speaker will be Rev. Russell Blanchard, lead pastor of Centerhill Baptist Church, Tyner. The Gospel Lights will kick off the Sunday Evening Service with pre-revival Gospel songs at 6:30 p.m. Evening Services begin 7 p.m. There will be a finger food social in the Fellowship Building at 5 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 13. An invitation to attend is cordially extended to the public.

Any Cost Revival

Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 8750 NC 142, Oak City, will host a revival series entitled “Sav ing the Lost at Any Cost” courtesy of the Crusade for Souls Outreach Ministries on Thursday, Sept. 10, and Friday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m. night ly. Dr. Bridget Newton, of Rhema Hub Christian Center, will be the guest speaker on Thursday. Minister Dewitt King Jr., of West Branch MBC, will be the speaker on Friday.

Family and Friends Celebration

The Undenominational Revival Center, Inc., in Roper, will celebrate the 51st Family and Friends service at 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 13. The guest speaker will be Pastor John nie Barnes from Riverside Baptist Church in Plymouth. Pastor James Burnett, Jr., and the U.R.C. church family would like to invite all to worship with us.

Temple of Christ Church is hosting its Pre Anniversary Service forever Bishop Avery and Leading Lady Valtine Barnes at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 10.
