Plymouth Town Council got its first look at the proposed budget for the coming year during a workshop Thursday morning, June 5.
For residents, there is no planned increase in the tax rate or any of the items found on the monthly “water bill”, which includes sewer, trash pick up and stormwater charges.
The overall spending plan calls for an increase of about $46,000 over the current year and includes a three-percent raise for employees.
It includes a $14,614 increase for the governing body, primarily to cover estimated costs of the upcoming election.
