A handful of election campaign signs sprinkled the Plymouth landscape in the last days of September. Along with the signs came reports that some of the yard signs mysteriously disappeared afterward.
Signs for mayoral candidate Mark Sexton and Town Council candidate Gale O’Neil were the first to pop up in September. Apparently, some of both variety vanished.
O’Neil says a limited number of her placards cannot be located now. Sexton reports he’s unaware of missing signs, but other candidates say they’ve noted Sexton signs that have gone missing at different locations.
Incumbent Ward One Councilman John Tharps has a battery of yard signs surrounding his Mackeys Road residence, but he was not available for comment, since his cell phone mailbox is full and does not accept messages...
