Drivers travelling along Plymouth’s Long Ridge Road Monday, November 17, were in for an alarming sight as a serious malfunction caused a large green tractor combine to erupt into a torrent of flames while traversing the fields behind the Speedway Convienience store. The farmer driving the machine was uninjured and watched as Plymouth Volunteer Firefirghters doused the machine in several coats of foam to quell the flames. (Staff photo by Arthur Howell)
