Developer asks county to work with Plymouth

Recently-arrived commercial developer Wayne Pittman — a frequent public commenter at Plymouth Town Council of late — made his debut at a County Commissioner meeting last week. His comments, perhaps inevitably, expressed discontent about his experiences with town officials and hope for potential future town-county cooperation.

Since 2024, Pittman and his crews are deep into restoration projects at locations on Water and Washington streets, aimed at revitalizing abandoned buildings for retail or residential use.
