Residents expected a lengthy Plymouth Town Council meeting Monday evening, August 11, but instead witnessed raised dander, leading council to decide to adjourn early.

One of the first items for council to take up was the agenda. However, confusion erupted during that process.

Some in the audience could not hear what was happening and, having been invited to do so in the past, businessman Wayne Pittman moved his chair closer to council table.

“So, we’re going to call the [police] chief,” Councilwoman Crystal Davis said. “We’re not doing that.”
