Tyrrell County families gathered in the halls of the local library to shoe off their creative chops, carving a number of interesting, experimental and sometimes downright spooky designs ahead of the Halloween holiday, Wednesday, October 29. The pumpkin carving session came courtesy of Friends of the Tyrrell County Library as well as those at Scuppernong Produce, who graciously provided a myriad of large pumpkins for the event.
