North Carolina Energy Saver Program (ESP) representatives will host workshops in Plymouth, Roper and Creswell, offering insight into the state-funded initiative and providing assistance to make on-the-spot application for as much as $30,000 in rebates to cover costs linked to energy efficiency.
The HOMES rebates in the project apply to improvements that increase the overall efficiency of the home, including insulation, air sealing, heating and cooling system repairs or replacements, and other measures that help lower monthly utility bills, while making homes safer and more comfortable.
The HEARS rebates support the purchase of energy efficient appliances and the electrification of the home systems like cooking, laundry, hot water and heating and cooling.
The ESP rebates do not apply to flooring, roofing or windows...
