Washington-Tyrrell EMS Director Jennifer O’Neal will assume a new role as Washington County Emergency Management Coordinator (EMC) beginning April 16. Washington County Commissioners approved the appointment following a closed session discussion at their April 6 meeting.

O’Neal fills the position vacated by former coordinator Lance Swindell, who resigned in February to return to the forestry field.
