After a youth spent pur suing learning and 45 years devoted to educating others, Plymouth native Mary Towe says her lifelong commit ment to education has roots in her family legacy.

Towe is the Charlotte Post Foundation’s Educator of the Year. The foundation will honor her at the annual Post Best Banquet on October 3.
